HowTo: Copy file with a colon in the name using scp

Today I found myself frustrated because I needed to copy a file with a name containing multiple colons using scp.  I was about to revert to renaming the file when I came across the solution.  All you need to do is prepend './' to the beginning of the file name and scp will interpret it correctly.
